LOCATION: NE PDX- Village Ballroom

COST: $16 drop in/class cards honored ($10 if paying cash)

Multitasking CoreFit! WEDNESDAYS 9-9:45AM

Bring your little one to play (extra toys provided) while you work on strengthening your core and getting strong and fit. A Pilates based class, we will stretch and tone, focusing on our core muscles while our kiddos get their wiggles out. Classes always end with a little kid (and mama) friendly dance party and then a cool down and cuddle session. A great way to practice self-care while loving on your little(s)!

Family Fun & Fit! THURSDAYS 9-9:45AM

Part circuit training, part dance party, this class is designed to give parents a great, well-rounded workout while kiddos play for the first half, with a fun "dance party" during the second half where everyone is invited to join in a (cardio-focused) dance that keeps the parent's heart rates up (and sneakily works on gross-motor development for the kiddos)!

COST: $625 if paid in full, or $85 per week.

DESCRIPTION:
For all children, there are key developmental stages they must work through in order to gain understanding and begin using social skills to build their own unique relationships. Many children need help solidifying social-emotional understanding, conflict management, and reciprocity in their relationships. In these social skills groups, our goal is to both educate and allow a child to experience what healthy relationship building looks like. Developed for proficiently verbal children to address peer interaction where we dissect socially abstract concepts and teach them more concretely. The group will consist of 4-6 children and focus on enhancing interaction skills among peers and providing an opportunity for participation in structured group activities as well as everyday situations. The curriculum we will use is based on the Social Thinking treatment frameworks. We will focus on social communication and social behavior to build functional social skills.

Led by Holly Leder, SLP and Megan Knight, SLP; this 8 week program was created and is overseen by Debra Jablonski, MS, CCC-SLP, with input from Ready Set GROW founder Daniele Strawmyre. Each session ends with a short movement or yoga based activity correlated to the primary objective of the lesson, helping children to integrate more fully the concepts explored and leave with a “calm body” and “calm mind”.

And lots of sounding. I felt empowered and prepared thanks to you!"    -Lindsey Garcia, former workshop participant and new mama
