“I've always been passionate about babies, pregnancy care, and the many shapes that families can take. Also, as a queer person who wants to be a parent someday, I know people like me are often overlooked in this field, and I feel it's important to connect and give back to the LGBT+ community.”
I'm a THW certified birth doula; I completed my initial training through Cornerstone Doula Trainings in 2024, and a cultural competency course -- including trauma informed care, interprofessional collaboration, and HIPAA training -- through Mother Tree Birth. In the two years since, I've attended twelve births, and hope to add to that number in the future.
