Emily Knell Spaeth, PT, DPT, CNT, CBS, LMT, NTMTC, CIMT II, TIP, E-RYT 200, RPYT, YACEP

Emily is a doctor of physical therapy, and the owner of Be Well Baby PDX where she supports birthing bodies and their babies preconception through postpartum with yoga, bodywork, physical therapy, and lactation support. Emily Spaeth’s journey into helping bodies started in 2009 when she was injured on a backpacking trip in the Himalayas and ended up in an Ashram where her body and spirit healed by learning and practicing yoga. Upon returning, Emily decided to give back to her community by teaching frequent free Karma Yoga classes so others could experience the benefits she had. Emily received her formal yoga teacher training in 2011 with Tias and Surya Little of Prajna Yoga, and again in 2015 with Gaurav Malik of Ashtak Yoga. Her deepest passion is supporting people through their pregnancy and postpartum journeys and their babies through Yoga and powerful bodywork modalities including:

As a Certified Trauma Informed Professional, Emily weaves her passion for trauma informed care throughout all interactions with her clients and their families. When she’s not teaching or working with clients, you might find Emily designing courses for yoga teachers and physical therapists. Emily has a partner and two little ones who keep her busy like every other parent out there!
